Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani is an experienced oil and gas executive and has served on DNO’s board of directors since 2011. Mr Mossavar-Rahmani is Chairman of the board and Chief Executive Officer of RAK Petroleum PCL, DNO’s largest shareholder, and also Chairman of the board of directors of Foxtrot International, LDC, a privately held Franco-American oil and gas company active in West Africa. He was founder and first Chief Executive of Houston-based Apache International, Inc. In addition to his industry positions, Mr. Mossavar-Rahmani is a Director of the Persepolis Foundation and serves on the Visiting Committee of the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government as well as on the Board of Trustees of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has published more than ten books and several articles on global energy markets and was decorated Commandeur de l’Ordre National de la Côte d’Ivoire for services to the energy sector of that country. Mr Mossavar-Rahmani is a graduate of Princeton (AB) and Harvard Universities (MPA). Mr Mossavar-Rahmani is a member of the nomination and remuneration committees.
