Taymaz Saba, Composer, Singer and actor one movie, is a music writer by training and has been making soundtracks and music of his own for the past 10 years.
He started with a Rock/Pop band named Sederta in his home town Tehran. Saba entered in cinema and movies at age five in "Gorbe-ye avaze-khan", a film by Kambuzia Partovi and shoot by Farhad Saba (Taymaz's Father), very well known Director of Photographers in Iran who had won different awards for shooting Abbas Kiarostami's Trilogy.
in 1994 Taymaz acted again for Alireza Raeisian's "Safar" and in the same year he played the ending piano part for "Dani-o-Man" T.V series. Saba's first solo album produced in 1995-1996 named "A Letter To A Friend".
"Tilted Vision" a short film written/directed and produced by Nima Soofi in 2005 was Saba's first work of writing scores, and in 2006 he scored his very first feature length movie "Aroosak-e-Farangi". He is now working with Qube Film Co. [www.qubefilm.com] under management of Navid Soofi. He scored soundtracks for three short films "Ordinary" by Maryam Najafi "Inscribed" by Hossein Martin Fazeli and "Me...Myself..." by Nima Soofi, which all got into The Short Film Corner (Cannes-Festival.
Recently Saba has been working with Hossein Martin Fazeli the director of "T-Shirt" which has been broadcast on networks such as CNN, SBS, ARTE and Canal+. Taymaz Saba has previously worked on media campaigns and Radio stations.
